Pilgrim International Limited, part of the SKF group is an engineering company based in Oldham with over sixty years' experience as a market leader in Controlled Fastening Systems, serving mainly the Power and Marine industries with the majority our sales exported internationally.

Due to the recent expansion of Pilgrim's product range into the tensioner business, we are looking for Design / Applications Engineering to join the established Engineering and Development team to help with the development of its tensioning business. The successful candidate will be Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or have proven track record in Design Engineering. Hold a full UK driving licence and demonstrate a can-do attitude and be an effective team player.

The role will be based at our facility in Oldham, near Manchester reporting directly to the Engineering and Development Manager. You will be required to:
  • Create production manufacturing drawings, 3D Models and use FEA. (Creo & Ansys)
  • Define correct product selection.
  • Create bills of materials.
  • Create Customer Operator manuals
  • Project Manage
  • Liaise effectively with other departments including Sales and Production
  • Periodically deliver on-site training and installation supervision (Globally)
