Job PurposeIn the role of Systems Administrator, you are highly motivated and an aggressive self-starter, with a solid background in information technology applied towards a production environment. You will configure, deploy and maintain all server-based components for multiple product groups and production environments with the organization. You will establish/maintain relationships with all third-party vendors related to server-based deployment and provide technical support to product management in developing server-based infrastructure solutions as required to meet customer demands.
The System Admin will be required to complete mandatory on call additionally, be the first point of technical contact when issues arise with external customers. The System Admin will also be the incident liaison out of hours when covering on call rotation.

Specific Responsibilities And AccountabilitiesThe System Admin will be responsible for
- Triaging requests to ensure they get the correct priority
- Managing SEV1 and SEV2 Incidents
- Ensure all tickets are completed for internal & external customers
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers in the event of a failure
- Updates, Upgrades & Deployments for our customers
- Take an active role in the monitoring of our customers services
- Provide mentoring and guidance to team member
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Extensive demonstrable experience in a senior IT Support role
- Office 365 support and administration.
- Linux/Unix Administration with CentOS/Ubuntu based Linux
- Shell Scripting Bash, Perl, PowerShell
- Windows Server / Workstation experience with all relevant services
- Database administration experience with Cassandra, Maria, MySQL, CAS & MSSQL
- IIS / Apache maintenance and understanding of SSL certificates
- Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services
- The ability to articulate at a technical level appropriate to circumstances
- Work well under pressure and in a busy environment
- Team player
- Can demonstrate good written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience of working within a regulated environment
- Problem Management and Service Improvement experience
- ITIL Qualified or aware
- Knowledge of Change Management or aware
