Job Details

Our mission is to make homeownership possible. We are rethinking and rebuilding the mortgage process from the ground up.

Last year we secured the largest European seed round ever raised by a FinTech, and since then we have built an eclectic, welcoming and talented team.

We are at a crucial point in our journey, and you can have a real and sizeable impact on the direction the product takes.

What you'll do?

You'll measure the impact your work has on internal teams.

You'll optimise for outcome rather than output.

You'll code our infrastructure using Terraform over GCP, Cloudflare, NordVPN.

You'll help us orchestrate our application layer using Kubernetes.

You'll drive and contribute on how to scale, maintain and secure our application at the infrastructure layer.

You'll collaborate well with our cross functional teams.

You'll secure our production perimeter at the infrastructure layer.

You'll monitor the health of our platform and will advise for improvements.

You'll support engineers in understanding their impact over the performance of our product.

You'll build tools to improve the observability and maintainability of our platform.

You will support the data pipelines and integration with Looker and other third parties.

You'll own the data layer - its uptime, replicability and recovery.

You'll assist the other functions of the company by defining technical solutions.

You'll actively shape the ethos, culture and working habits of our organisation.

You'll help build a company alongside a friendly and ambitious team.

RequirementsWhat we expect?

You take pride in tying infrastructure work to impact on customers.

You are empathetic with customers, colleagues and any others for that matter.

You thrive on solving problems and learning.

You have delivered solutions that are powered by cloud infrastructures.

You have experience with cloud products at scale and complexity (AWS, GCP).

You have a proven track record on architecting computer networks - specifically in the cloud (topologies, protocols, security).

You have strong experience with Databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

You have experience using containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

You developed an intuition about when pragmatism beats purity.

You are comfortable facing ambiguity and pressure (to keep the cool when the platform is down).

Bonus points

You have experience working in regulated industries (financial, medical etc.)

You have a holistic view on a lot of different moving parts, and are able to identify where you can add impact.
