The Challenge
Due to rapid growth and increased demand, OneTrust is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing global team. This is a hands on role supporting the Finance Controller in developing new and further enhancing our current processes and control framework across all areas of the Finance function.
Your Mission
- Tasks will mainly focus on the below core areas of the Accounting & Finance Function:
Accounts Receivable- Assist in the daily cash allocation process, ensuring all cash receipts are allocated correctly on the ledger
- Oversee the weekly / monthly invoice review process ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Update and reconcile revenue recognition schedules in accordance with US GAAP
- Partner with the Cash Collections team and provide support where required on the more complex accounts
- Apply accounting policies to the GL coding and payment of invoices from suppliers for proper expense classification and timing
- Support AP team in review and completion of weekly AP payment runs
- Completion of the daily cash allocations process, ensuring all payments are allocated correctly on the ledger
- Identify and help drive process improvements across the entire AP Function
General Accounting
- Provide Ownership and support across specific balance sheet accounts and monthly processing of standard journal entries including, but not limited to accruals, prepayment`s and Fixed Assets
- Partner with budget holders such as Legal, Marketing etc to ensure monthly accuracy of Expense reporting and Quarter end Cut off procedures
- Monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting
Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reporting along with company requirements
- Prepare Quarterly VAT Returns
- Other Ad Hoc reporting requirements
- Provide support to the controller with the Annual Statutory Audit requirements and preparation of supporting schedules
You Are
- Independent self-starter and fast learner
- Used to prioritizing between multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Able to transition from onboarding/training to taking full ownership of assigned tasks
- Accurate with key attention to detail
Your Experience Includes
- ACCA / CIMA Qualified
- At least 3-5 years of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance Reporting & Compliance
- Understanding of UK GAAP
- Excel skills

- Experience performing analysis on large data sets
- Partnering of External Audits
- Capable of researching complex transactions and proposing solutions
