We are working with an ambitious, well-recognised betting and gaming brand, building their team of Product Owners at a key time of expansion for their business.

The Product Owners will join the product team and take the pivotal role of creating a unique social betting experience through its innovative, engaging platform, natively designed for mobile punters. The candidate will work with different stakeholders mostly with product managers, product owners, engineers, QAs and architects focusing on to deliver the goals of Sprints with the right delivery plan and provide a best practice user journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Product Manager to break down and understand overall business strategy and help to improve our technologies and ensure targets are met.
  • Capturing requirements from the Product Manager and business stakeholders that are developed into product backlog items.
  • Identify potential improvements and user stories and then handle them in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the business analyst, design and development team in a lean environment.
  • Prioritising and sequencing the backlog according to business value i.e. grading user stories.
  • Lead and drive Product Pre-Planning session and iterate in an agile way.
  • Assisting the development team in breaking down epics, themes and features into user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint.
  • Develop deep understanding about mobile product lifecycle to achieve ultimate mobile user experience and disruptive engagement on a product.
  • Working as required with the User Acceptance Test (UAT) to finalize sprints.
  • Being responsible for monitoring KPI's on features and reporting back to the Product Directors

  • Building expert product knowledge and effectively sharing with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Becoming a driver force of product and customer's requirement in agile scrum teams.
  • Leading go to market (GTM) strategy within agile methodologies.
  • Be comfortable to work in a fast-paced and pressured environment with demanding targets but maintaining customer-focus.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience in mobile product.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product.
  • Strong and dynamic execution and delivery skills within a product life-cycle.
  • Experience with Scrum and other agile development methods.
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Knowledgeable about sport, particularly football, and some interest in sports betting.
  • Will give exemplary attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.
  • Is creative with an analytical approach and can easily switch between creative and analytical work.
  • Is organised create/follow processes.
  • Outgoing, positive and forward thinking.
  • Excellent communicator of product decisions and the rationale behind them.
  • Have an obsession with creating great products, motivate and inspire your team members to achieve great things.
  • Excited to travel internationally and meet new people.
  • Become the voice of the customer - be an expert on quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Experience with tools such as Intercom, Mixpanel, Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart or other equivalent tools.
  • Speak and write fluently in English.
  • Be a great Product Lover with full of motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Working experience at a startup/fast paced environment
