Developer / Analyst

Arian Financial is a leading Inter Dealer Broker (IDB) which places an emphasis on empowering our front office staff with the tools required to perform their roles to the best advantage of our clients. To facilitate the increasing demand for its services, Arian Financial is seeking an ambitious developer/analyst to join its team in London.

The Role

• Work with operations team to identify, design and deploy high level front and back office solutions
• Assist in the day-to-day management of the existing data systems and their expansion

Key Competencies / Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other quantitative subjects
• Strong understanding of relational data management systems, particularly SQL.
• Proficient in Python and libraries such as pandas, numpy, sciPy, plotly
• Data manipulation skills: cleansing, enriching and merging datasets
• Ability to work autonomously

Desired

• Experience with Bloomberg and/or Symphony
• Familiarity with Java or C++
• Intellectual curiosity and demonstrable interest in data analysis and technology.
