Bookkeeper Job Description

16 - 24 hours

Location: Huddersfield Town Centre/Working from home

Must Have
  • Accounts/bookkeeping experience - 2 years
  • Confidence to liaise with clients by phone and email
  • High levels of literacy and numeracy
  • Initiative and ability to work on their own
  • Time management and prioritising skills
  • Meticulous and methodical

  • Cloud bookkeeping experience Xero/Quickbooks
  • AAT level 3 or above/equivalent
  • Customer Service experience
  • Moderate to advanced user of Excel spreadsheets

Job Description
  • Customer management - acting as the accounts department for specific clients by ensuring bookkeeping is up to date, VAT Returns, CIS Returns, Bank reconciliation, credit control, producing reports
  • To assist directors and accountants with general tasks and administration
  • Implementing processes for efficiency and task completion
  • May be required to work in clients' offices from time to time
