TrueLayer's IT team is central to the smooth operation of engineering and non-technical teams' day-to-day activities. As a rapidly growing organisation the IT team work closely with all parts of the business providing support, on-boarding/off-boarding, ordering additional equipment and licenses as required and organising repairs to equipment.

As part of this growth, we're looking for an ambitious IT Engineer who is eager to take on the challenge of managing TrueLayer's hardware assets, controlling access to our internal services and centralizing the management of our fleet of MacOS devices, as well as providing day to day support to our user base.

As our Senior IT Engineer, you will
  • Have a central role in how we effectively manage, onboard and ultimately empower current and future TrueLayeristas as we work towards our vision of leading the new era of financial technology
  • Help shape our IT systems, processes, documentation and onboarding efforts
  • Have the opportunity to learn from a world-class team and work with the latest tools and technologies
  • Take the lead on IT projects and see them through to completion
  • Contribute towards building an IT roadmap for TrueLayer
  • Provide IT support to all members of staff, technical and non-technical via our helpdesk ticketing system
  • Use your experience to provide guidance and mentoring to junior colleagues
  • Work closely with DevOps and Security teams to guarantee the availability, confidentiality and integrity of TrueLayer's services


RequirementsWhat we need from you
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT Engineering/Support role
  • Experience in managing and supporting MacOS systems
  • Experience with Jamf Pro
  • Experience working with cloud systems (SaaS)
  • Experience configuring Okta (or an equivalent single sign-on system)
  • Administration of Google Workspace (formerly known as G Suite)
  • TCP/IP networking knowledge
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • A strong capacity and desire to learn

Nice to haves
  • Experience in a fast-growing company/startup
  • Basic knowledge of scripting or programming
  • Experience installing and configuring Linux systems (specifically Ubuntu)
  • Atlassian Software Suite experience
