Purpose

Key focus of the role

Be the lead contact for both clients and team, whilst contributing to the strategic development and direction of accounts

Key tasks
  1. Own the projects you deliver, get client sign-off at the relevant project stages, and ensure all internal and external stakeholders are clearly briefed, motivated and involved at the appropriate stages
  2. Identify and initiate business opportunities with new and existing clients. Be proactive in bringing potential opportunities to fruition
  3. Manage your own project workload and that of your team to ensure projects have the correct resource allocated, are delivered on time and are profitable
  4. Assist in managing the accounts finance. Ensure accurate quotes are provided to clients and circulated internally. Monitor profitability of jobs. If any problems arise, be sure to raise them early with the team

  • Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Proactively deliver organic business growth
  • Hit monthly financial revenue targets (that you will help to forecast)
  • Deliver projects to the agreed timeframe (that you will help to build)


Key Interactions
  • Be the key point of contact for your clients, proactively working to drive projects forwards
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure correct resource is allocated
  • Work alongside your AD/CSD to ensure project profitability and drive organic growth on accounts


Responsibilities

Client
  • Be proactive in developing and maintaining a close and productive relationship with key client
  • Ensure the work you and your team send to the client, is completed in a timely fashion and is of the highest quality, with high levels of factual accuracy, attention to detail and relevance to brief
  • Ensure client requests are developed into strong briefs and if necessary, ask the right questions to help formulate a clearer brief before the brief is worked on


Internal
  • Delegate, brief and coordinate team activities and maintain overall responsibility for the work we deliver to clients
  • Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional colleagues and include them in relevant discussions to ensure they can add value and client requirements are managed to realistic timescales and associated budgets are appropriate
  • Assist in overseeing financial interactions on accounts; ensure good financial health and billing practices


Core competencies

The successful candidate will:
  • Have a minimum of three years relevant agency experience
  • Demonstrable expertise and passion for digital marketing
  • Have experience and expertise in healthcare communications
  • Hold excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Have a strong track record of project planning, coordination and delivery
  • Be comfortable with a high degree of project accountability and ownership
  • Proficiency with Zinc and Veeva Vault PromoMats
  • Understand and appreciate working in a flexible, start-up environment


Qualifications
  • Essential: graduate qualification; ideally a science and/or marketing
  • Desirable: post-graduate qualification in marketing/digital marketing
