Specialist Speech and Language Therapist needed in Suffolk/Cambridgeshire
Two Can Talk is a thriving and rapidly developing independent Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy practice. We work with babies, children and young people in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk; and nationally via teletherapy.
Many of the children we work with have additional needs such as Down Syndrome, an Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy and feeding difficulties. We also offer a general communication/early developmental service to mainstream pre school and school aged children.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (band 6+) to join the team. The successful applicant will have experience working with children who have complex needs and must be able to work autonomously. Experience of working with feeding difficulties is desirable but not essential. The caseload is variable and will include complex needs and also general developmental difficulties.
The post is flexible and part time or full time applicants will be considered. Pay is dependent upon experience.
The successful applicant will be based in the Mildenhall/Lakenheath area with the ability to travel to surrounding areas including Ely, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich and Cambridge. Work may also be allocated in Peterborough, Alcolnbury, Kings Lynn and Huntingdon by mutual agreement.
The successful applicant will be part of a hard working team who are motivated to provide the best possible outcome for the families they work with. Admin support and clinical supervision will be provided. We can arrange training for clinical areas requiring development, including Talk Tools, Dysphagia, PROMPT, ABA/VB (Applied Behaviour Analysis/Verbal Behaviour).
Please send your CV to Mags Kirk at mags@tctspeechtherapy.co.uk or call Mags for a chat on 07957 098039.
