Role: Technical Producer- Virtual Events

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Location: Bristol

Hours: Full-time

Responsible for;

  • The technical management and execution of GDS Group's Virtual Summits and MTB Virtual Showcases
  • All Run of Show, Cue Sheet and Call Sheet development for each event
  • Visual Run of Show creation, including formatting and management of all visual and audio assets - imagery, decks, video, audio files
  • Zoom set up for entire event - from main sessions and audience, as well individual panellists, speakers, as well as presentations, live polling and live Q&A, breakouts and roundtables
  • Remote Clickers, second screen experiences, third party tech integrations
  • Packaging and delivery of all materials and assets for Studio production team
  • Coordination and execution of all kit and equipment for remote speakers where required
  • Briefing and rehearsing with Studio Production team, including tech set up, dress rehearsal, and troubleshooting
  • Participate where required in Speaker Briefing calls from a 'tech' expertise
  • Producer Number 1 or 2 on the day(s) of each event live from the studio
  • Live Stream set up and execution
  • Working collaboratively with Product leadership and relevant departments to innovate and develop the tech set up for new formats, better execution of existing formats and challenging the boundaries of the technology


About you;

  • 1-2 years' experience in digital event production, either running digital roundtables, webinars, or streaming video shows
  • Competence and aptitude in working with different video conferencing software, such as Zoom, Teams, WebX or GoToMeeting
  • Strong technical and digital appetite
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Organised and efficient and attention to detail in providing documentation that is used by multiple departments for strong execution of digital shows
