Working within the Marketing department, you will be a key point of contact in ensuring we run successful campaigns and assisting with the growth of the brand. You will implement the brand marketing, Influencer and PR activity, ensuring that brand principles are protected, and customer knowledge is applied to all areas of Marketing. Leading on the PR and Influencer strategy across territories, you will understand how to engage customers and portray the brand in engaging and creative activation plans to drive customer acquisition and elevate the brand

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Support the Head of Brand Marketing in executing the influencer marketing strategy, managing all gifting and implementation of campaigns involving influencers and measuring success of campaigns
  • Be a key point of contact for our relationships with celebrity collaborations including seeking new, relevant brand ambassadors and maintaining positive working relationship
  • Support the Marketing Director in executing the PR strategy with our PR agency and be the main point of contact for all PR activity within the business.
  • Supporting the Head of Brand Marketing and Campaigns in activation of new campaign ideas through events, pop ups, podcasts, social media and bringing new ideas and initiatives as appropriate to drive brand awareness and reach new audiences
  • Working with the wider Marketing team to maximise the use of content delivered from PR and influencer activity through all marketing channels.
  • Supporting the PR agency with press call ins, enquiries and sending images and samples as requested and following up leads. Provide reporting the business as to the value of gained PR activity on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Support the Marketing Director and Co-founders of My 1st Years to execute a relevant corporate/business PR strategy to keep industry press up to date and keep stakeholders informed of relevant industry events, award ceremonies and speaking opportunities
  • Being aware and noting any industry news or announcements relevant to the brand and to share updates with stakeholders
  • Researching new brand partners and growing relevant networks to offer and invite new opportunities to amplify marketing of new ranges and initiatives to reach wider audiences
  • Work with the Performance Marketing Manager and Head of Brand Marketing and Data Analyst to find new ways to present achievements to the business and finding and exploring measurement opportunities to show the value of brand activity
  • Partner with the Performance Marketing team to be the point of contact for content affiliates and affiliate influencer network to drive affiliate marketing sales and growth

Skills and Knowledge

The Brand Marketing Manager is expected to have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Previous experience in a similar role; working with PR agencies, influencers and organising events is essential
  • Ability to work on effectively under pressure when delivering to deadlines and working on multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Relevant degree in Marketing or similar
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to build positive working relationships with all areas of the business
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactively researching industry trends and sharing knowledge and creative ideas with the wider team to help drive the marketing strategy
  • Organised and methodical approach to work
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Location: Remote but regular travel to Northampton will be required

Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays
