A financial services firm is looking for an Information Security Manager to assist in improving the cyber security posture of this financial service firm. As an Information Security champion, you will be a point of escalation for matters of security governance.

The firm will look at individuals from a technical background, but they must have performed GRC positions.

The successful candidate must have experience in managing and motivating a team, even if the team has been remote or outsourced.

Advising the business on risk management strategies in with the risk appetite is an important part of this role as well as ensuring that the company complies with industry standards and regulations.

You will also promote security awareness throughout the organisation.

You must have experience of key security frameworks, such as Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, NIST, ISO, COBIT, or NIST.

Security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CRISC is preferred.

Experience of working within a financial service regulated firm and knowledge of banking regulation is advantageous but not crucial.

This is a very urgent position and interviews will commence as soon as possible. The firm will look at candidates interested in working remotely.
