About Finance at THG
Finance at THG is a rapidly growing and evolving team, covering all areas of finance from central functions such as accounts receivable and payable, treasury, tax and internal audit, to specific commercial teams for each of our divisions; Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health and Brands. As the business expands and takes on new challenges in the form of acquired businesses or new ventures, finance is there to support every step of the way, leading to dynamic and challenging roles - no two days are the same! About the Role
You will work as part of the wider Group finance/Central finance teams to help the business through the monthly and yearly reporting cycle, including:
- Reviewing a selection of balance sheet accounts that are owned by the wider group team and being responsible for reconciliation to supporting documentation
- Preparation and posting of monthly journals (e.g. accruals/prepayments) and responsibilities for maintaining schedules for key balance sheet accounts
- Assisting with the preparation weekly and monthly forecasts for the central finance division
- Ensuring the data in the forecasts, P&L's and reporting is accurate and understood and analysing actual vs forecast performance
- Supporting the wider business in the preparation and production of other ad hoc analysis and reports as required
Role Requirements
- Part Qualified/Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with Senior Stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
- Planning and organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
