Sales Engineer (OT)
Role Location: UK & Ireland
The Sales Engineer is responsible for establishing relationships with large-sized businesses on behalf of Fortinet with a focus on Operation Technology engagements but should be able to work across all technologies.
The role holder will manage the engagement and development of significant deals and have an outstanding track record of selling complex solutions and services in full collaboration with the Major Account Managers and Systems Engineers.
Key role responsibilities include:
o in responding to RFPs/RFIs: design, solution specification, product information
o in supporting key projects to ensure Fortinet success
o in leading technical discussions, articulating the technology, and demonstrating the differentiated value
o in conducting compelling solution presentation, demonstrations, and POCs
Required Skills and Technical Experience:

- Member of the team which covers the UK&I region
- Technical support assisting the Sales organization:
o in responding to RFPs/RFIs: design, solution specification, product information
o in supporting key projects to ensure Fortinet success
o in leading technical discussions, articulating the technology, and demonstrating the differentiated value
o in conducting compelling solution presentation, demonstrations, and POCs
- Being responsible to build technical material to support sales activities
- Effectively spread product knowledge to the Sales Team
- Report and consolidate customer needs across UK&I
- Report project activities, analyze project trends, and provide market vision
- Participate in the development of commercial strategies
- Frequent travel across the Region
- Being able to self-start and understand the addressable market for your designated technologies
Required Skills and Technical Experience:
- Extensive Consultative Systems Engineering experience as well as strong business acumen.
- Hands-on experience within the OT sector desirable
- Experience in public speaking excellent presentation and demo skills
- A self-motivated, independent thinker
