Huami is a cloud-based healthcare services provider with world-leading smart wearable technology. Since its inception in 2013, Huami has quickly established its global leadership and recognition in the smart wearable industry by shipping millions of smart wearable devices. Under huami, there are two consumer brands; Amazfit and Zepp.


Established in 2015, Amazfit is an energetic, dynamic brand, which through its ecosystem of products, helps users become more active and stay healthier. Amazfit's main products are wearable devices such as smart bracelets, smart watches, and sports earbuds, and products related to sports and health such as treadmills, weight scales, body fat scales, shoes, and clothing.


Zepp is a professional digital health management platform which provides digital health management for its users' wellbeing. The global tech company is based in California and has recently launched its latest product line up for wearables - the Zepp E Series - to the UK health and fitness market.

The role

We are looking to recruit a Senior PR and Social Manager to join our ground-breaking digital health business and help grow awareness of the latest line-up of wearables to the UK market. Aimed at on the go professionals, you will be responsible for managing all PR communications, and leading on the social media PR, reporting into the MD for UK. We are looking for someone highly motivated with experience in tech and who can hit the ground running, ready to focus on launch plans ahead of Christmas and for 2021.


PR & communications (40%)

  • Support the creation and implementation of the brand's public relations strategy. By working with the MD, sales teams and external PR agencies, you will help build a national strategy that will complement and support the brand objectives and drive sales demand, which can also be leveraged via the social platforms.
  • Help construct a PR and social strategy that will complement and support brand objectives.
  • Deliver successful campaigns to increase the client's brand awareness, understanding and consideration within the B2C market.
  • Overseeing content production (press releases, case studies, videos and online/offline marketing) and report on performance using agreed KPIs, while working with external agencies to promote the brand in a playful and positive way that will reach the right audiences.
  • Manage all agency relationships; have the ability to develop scope of work, briefs and PR plans
  • Support the team with copy and content creation for the website, emails, paid acquisition activity, presentations etc
  • Identify PR opportunities within lifestyle, tech, fitness industries and build key media relationships
  • Position key spokespeople as thought leaders in the industry

Social Media (40%)

  • Set clear campaign objectives for all new product launches and align to global plans

· Develop social media strategy to increase reach, brand awareness and engagement
  • Write, create and post engaging content to increase traffic, followers & engagement
  • Manage all social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ Instagram and Tik Tok anddevelop social assets where required
  • Create and implement a monthly editorial calendar which aligns with commercial objectives
  • Plan and schedule content delivery - aligned to local UK market, promotional, editorial key messaging & calendar campaign plans
  • Work with HQ digital team to align activations with all digital channels

Community management (20%)

  • Monitor social community and grow engagement
  • Create connection between our community of customers, brands and influencers through organic social media channels and blogs
  • A natural conversation starter, you'll join in with prospective customers via comments and DMs, connect with our current audiences and maintain network relationships
  • Manage and engage with key industry influencers to drive product awareness

Measurement and tools (as above)

  • Set goals and metrics to measure organic performance
  • Leverage the right tools for scheduling and monitoring performance
  • Use data and analytics to provide insight and recommendations across teams
  • Leverage social tools to inform teams - on competitors, hot topics & competitor activity
  • Provide weekly/monthly progress reports


  • 5+ years' experience in Social Media, PR
  • Proven press and key media/ influencer relationships
  • Experience in the tech (sports/fitness sectors is a plus)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects at once
  • Driven and passionate individual, willing to use own initiative to complete tasks
  • Experienced in managing a budget and delivering ROI and KPI's
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Creative thinking to generate innovative ideas and solutions
  • Experience of running multiple social channels
  • Acute creative skills and flair
