Our firmly established IT Services client has an exciting 6-month contract opening for an Azure DevOps Engineer.

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will work on an on-premise migration project. To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications, experience and traits:

• Terraform experience (this is a must)
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Packer
• GitHub / GitOps
• Demonstrative in-depth understanding and practice of Enterprise Scale/ Landing Zones with the use of Terraform - Rover Templates
• Solid experience of automated provisioning of Azure subscription best practices and excellent knowledge of the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) using Infrastructure as Code
• Experienced in Cloud Migration workloads based on Microsoft Best Practice with a focus on Compliance and Governance Policies
• Strong communication and senior stakeholder engagement experience
• Azure full-cycle cost management
• Azure licensing, subscription and cost models
• Azure services and technologies
• Azure Resource organisation (Access Management Resources)
• Azure Security Services
• Azure Virtual WAN or Transit VNETs
• Experience of taking on-premise Windows-based applications, and moving them in Azure
