An international AI company is looking to hire a Python Developer with drive and commercial experience. They are building a London office from the ground-up, with every team member being highly skilled. If you are passionate about working with emerging technologies and looking for fast development, this role could be a great fit for you.

THE COMPANY:

The company is using AI to develop state of the art facial recognition software to be used in the detection, tracking and prevention of spreading COVID-19. This technology has been applied successfully in both commercial and public settings across China and the US and the company are now looking to expand into the UK and EU markets.

THE ROLE:

Your role as a Backend Python Software Engineer will be to:

• Develop software products from scratch
• Apply both BDD and TDD best practice approaches to ensure quality
• Construct large scale systems
• Build RESTful APIs for real-time use
• Adapt to and dealing with problems
• Be a supportive team worker

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

The chosen candidate will have:

• Extensive commercial experience developing backend software in Python and C++
• An in depth awareness of the full Software Lifecycle
• Experience developing on UNIX/ Linux systems
• Experience with web architecture and
• Expansive knowledge of web architecture, data structures and algorithms
• Commercial experience using MySQL and cloud-based technologies (Docker, Kubernetes and AWS/ GCP)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective team working

THE BENEFITS:

The successful applicant will receive a salary, dependent on experience, of up to £70,000 as well as benefits including holiday allowance, a great working culture and the ability to work flexibly
