Job Details
Exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join a high performance car manufacturer. As an Electrical.Production Technician you will be responsible for production on daily basis to produce high quality vehicles across all models. These ultra-exclusive cars are engineered and designed without compromise to provide unrivalled driving experiences and driver-centric connection. Operating as part of a team, you will help ramp-up production of a low-volume, high quality automotive manufacturing facility.
Your key responsibilities as Production Technician - electrical
--Establish strong team member relations, at all levels with a focus on teamwork
--Operate machinery on a low volume production line
--Quality checking for any defects, labelling finished products
--Work towards production targets
--Support Cycle Time change planning, line rebalancing, trials and training activities
--Support new model activities
--Support shop safety initiatives and manage timely implementation of countermeasures to resolve problems
--Support problem solving activities within the team
Identify waste in assembly processes and implement activities to improve efficiency
Your Profile:
--Previous experience in electrical installation and automotive electrical diagnostics
--Previous experience working in a Prototype/Launch build team
--Ability to read automotive wiring diagrams
--High level of proven relevant automotive experience, experience in low volume automotive manufacturing preferable
--Understanding of the different assembly processes and equipment
--Ability to work well under pressure, work to meet strict production targets
--Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external clients.
--Ability to support problem solving activities within an automotive assembly environment
--Be available to work OT, shutdowns and travel as needed
-Computer literacy required - minimum basic in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
--Communication skills to be able to liaise and put point across to others.
--Possess a full UK driving licence
