Software Consultant - Electronic Trading Systems - £100k+

A global software vendor who provide high performance, low-latency trading systems are looking to hire a Lead Software Consultant in their central London offices.

This role would focus on the design, development and implementation of highly scalable, distributed trading systems for a range of well-known financial institutions, utilizing a range of technologies.

Software Consultant Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and engineering teams to design, develop and implement high performance trading systems
• Performance analysis and understand customer needs, translating these back to the business to develop new features and functionality
• Be involved in some hands-on development with a range of technologies such as C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, C++ etc.

Software Consultant Requirements

• Ability to read and write some code across technologies such as C++, Python, C#, Java, Javascript etc.
• 3+ years of working in a client environment, where you are able to communicate effectively with customers
• Any experience with electronic trading or at another vendor is ideal, otherwise, knowledge of real-time distributed systems is beneficial
