Charity People are delighted to be partnering with Princess Alice Hospice to recruit an Individual Giving Lead.
For more than 30 years, Princess Alice Hospice has been providing free, high quality specialist end of life care. They deliver their care across a large part of Surrey, south west London and Middlesex - more than one million people are eligible for help. Today, at any one time, they are looking after more than 800 people in need. They believe that end of life care is about helping people live every moment to the full in comfort and dignity. It's about creating a space whether in their Hospice or at home where families can enjoy special moments and create precious memories together.
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join the fundraising team at Princess Alice Hospice. The individual will work closely with the Head of Legacies, Individual Giving and Supporter Care to develop and implement an individual giving strategy focused on the acquisition and retention of supporters to achieve ambitious growth in this area.
You will have the responsibility for leading and growing existing individual giving income lines including regular giving, a programme of appeals/campaigns and Princess Alice Hospices's Lottery. This will be achieved through a range of media, with a particular emphasis on using digital channels. Furthermore, you will manage and deliver online and offline direct marketing activity to agreed timeframes and budget. This includes producing campaign schedules, managing the proofing process, briefing internal and external teams and writing copy where necessary.
This role has the line management responsibility of an Individual Giving Officer
We are looking for someone with strong direct marketing skills and managing a range of individual giving products, recruitment and engagement channels. You should have experience in managing digital campaigns including social media along with experience of increasing income through acquisition, retention, upgrade and reactivation campaigns
We are also looking for someone with an ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, excellent planning and project management skills, strong communication skills, both verbal and written and be self-motivated with a results focussed mindset.
