Requirements
We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic Cloud Security Engineer to join our technical team where you will work on delivering cloud-based solutions across our technology platforms for the DA Holdings group of companies.
As a competent cloud security engineer you will be applying your experience of managing and developing on a cloud platform and take responsibility for delivering security solutions which enable our rapid expansion into the cloud. Compliance is very important at DA Holdings various companies and you will help ensure we meet our requirements across the group.
Applicants that can demonstrate their ability to design and implement hybrid security networks to security tools that plug into our build pipeline will be well suited for this position.

About you
- You have the ability to manage time effectively in a fast paced environment
- You have at least 2 years relevant, full-time experience developing and maintaining cloud AWS infrastructure
- You are enthusiastic and enjoy working collaboratively in an agile environment with a desire to learn and expand your knowledge and experience
- You understand the principles of secure development lifecycle and have a solid understanding of source control systems and how CI/CD works in an organisation
- You follow and are excited by emerging security issues, trends and solutions and regularly engage with other security technologists
- You will design secure cloud systems through the application of security patterns and principles, to meet user needs while managing risks
- You have excellent communication skills including fluent spoken and written English
- Managing the cloud infrastructure on a day-to-day basis across the group
- Bridging the gap between business requirements & implementation in the cloud
- Ensuring that the security posture of our infrastructure is maintained
- Taking ownership of new methods & solutions to increase our security posture further, ensuring we are ahead of the curve and anticipating potential issues.
- Help liaise with 3rd party vendors and ensure that they have the correct access to be successful while keeping data & infrastructure secure
- Keep abreast of the latest security vulnerabilities, advising the technical team accordingly so they can develop products with security in mind
- Work within the agile team and participate fully in all team meetings, sharing knowledge with the team and wider department
- Demonstrate a willingness and motivation to learn and undertake self-initiated training
- Help mature the logging infrastructure across the DA Holdings group to better give actionable intelligence to the Risk & Compliance functions
- 2+ years managing and developing on a cloud platform
- In date AWS qualification (Certifications as a Solutions Associate or greater, AWS certified Security a bonus)
- Ability to administer & manage Linux servers
- Any security experience & qualifications desirable (CEH, Security+ etc)
- Understanding & experience managing ISO 27001:2015 or similar frameworks desirable
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Can effectively manage time in a fast paced environment
