An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Full Stack WordPress Developer to join the web development team. You will be working closely with Marketing and Product Management to propel our digital solutions and be central to the ongoing development and strategy of the online part of the business.

Our group of companies includes Luxury Serviced Residences, Wellbeing Centre, Medical Clinic, Restaurant serving HNWIs and UHNWIs ( /

The group also owns Continuum Economics, providing independent financial research to Central Banks, Traders, Fund Managers.

We are looking for a business-minded, ambitious and passionate individual to bring our vision to life to work on our real estate business.

  • Working as a key member of the product team
  • Building products following agile & iterative development practices
  • Working across the full product lifecycle, from idea creation & design through deployment and beyond, comfortable working with designers, project managers, and other business stakeholders
  • Identifying improvements to the development and delivery processes
  • Further developing our internal tooling: CMS, Analytics, Mobile App
  • Kind, positive, respectful, a team player ready to contribute

Required skills:
  • 3+ years of experience with WordPress - Custom Themes, Plugins, Custom Post Types, ACF, Page Templates, SQL injections & queries, Action and Filter Hooks
  • 3+ years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & php
  • Google Maps& Places API
  • Google reCAPTCHA v3
  • SEO
  • Docker Containers
  • Gulp, Node Modules & NPM
  • Git & GitHub
  • SCCS

  • MySQL (phpMyAdmin) - Creating Tables and setting Primary Key Indexes, timestamps on updates, exporting data and general SQL commands.
  • SQL Charts and exporting .csv files to Excel

  • Bootstrap 4

  • 3+ years of experience in jQuery

  • Experience using REST and SOAP APIs

  • Comfortable navigating & configuring an AWS EC2 Linux Instance
  • Renewing SSL certificates
  • Setting up and pulling down from git remotes
  • ssh keys and connecting via terminal.
  • Understanding of unit testing and TDD

Preferred, But Not Essential:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science
  • Social Media Logins (Twitter, Facebook, Google)
  • Experience with setting / removing browser session cookies
  • Tokenisations, secure payment gateways & md5 hash encryptions - Secure Trading
  • Experience with Property Management systems & APIs - Guestline
  • Experience with TCPDF - Functional PDF Compiler
  • AWS - Launching Instances, Load Balancing & Backups.
  • Configuring Docker Containers
  • Experience with Mobile Development, Python or Salesforce Apex is a plus but not required
  • Experience building RSS Feed or XML feeds is a plus
