ORONA's activities are focused on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernization of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways. Operating in over a 100 countries , we have 250,000 lifts worldwide using our technology. With 2 manufacturing plants Orona is Number 1 in Europe in terms of complete lift production capacity.

We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our London based Modernisation team.

With experience of working as either a Contracts Manager or Project Manager on a complex and diverse range of projects you will ideally have experience from within the lift or construction industry with IOSH Managing Safely and CDM awareness certification. You will combine your project management experience of working as principal contractor under full CDM regulations with your technical knowledge to be able to understand and solve the issues facing our engineers to meet customer and project requirements.

You must be fully computer literate and be able to assemble and collate all of the information required for full H&S/Construction phase plan to insure our business and the site operatives work to current UK HSE Construction Design and management regulation requirements

Possessing a PRINCE II or equivalent project management qualification would be advantageous, you should also be fully conversant with engineering drawings and able to plan, prioritize, organize and assign tasks, adapting your style to effectively train and pass on knowledge to others.

You will be responsible for:

-Managing multiple modernisation projects of various sizes and revenue

-Managing direct and subcontract labour, materials and the finances of the project from start to completion,

-Maintaining customer relationships ensuring that targets and timescales are achieved and that all parties involved in the project are full informed at key stages of the process

-Supervising your direct reports and dealing with any issues that arise, while ensuring that accurate management reports are completed in a timely manner.
