A leading financial services brand are looking for an experienced programme manager to join their business on a contract basis to help bring together their enterprise wide ESG strategy.
The right person for this job will have structured and stood up at least the initial phase of an ESG programme in a large asset manager, wealth manager or life and pensions business.
ESG is currently inter-departmental, so Front Office, HR, Risk etc are all working with different data, different metrics and different goals. It will be this programme manager's job to help bring together these different stakeholder groups, create the ESG advisory group, ensure the ESG strategy is intertwined with the broader corporate strategy whilst establishing the ESG TOM, governance framework and roadmap for the programme.
Skills and experience required:
- C-suite stakeholder management experience is a must
- Experience working on an ESG programme before, with a deep interest in the principles of ESG. At times, this person will be expected to be the ESG SME as well as holding delivery duties
- A proven enabler/ influencer and capable of driving out cultural change in the organisation
- A deep understanding of the buy-side and/ or L&P industries in order to communicate in detail with CRO's, invetsment teams, research, HR and other technical functions making up the advisory group.
