Totum Partners are delighted to be working with an elite global law firm to assist them in their search for a Pricing Manager to join the London office and oversee the management of pricing functions within the EMEA region. The role supports the Assistant Director (EMEA) in driving firm strategy, policing commercial agreements and managing the junior members of the team.
The role holder will support the Firm's leadership and will help partners and other key fee-earners to adopt improved pricing and legal project management practices. The main responsibilities of the role will include creating innovative pricing models and making recommendations for the most appropriate choices on panel pitches and individual matters. You will also provide strategic and tactical pricing advice and services to help develop the pricing and scope of services of alternative fee arrangements, including fee modifiers in the forms of penalties, reductions, bonuses and premiums The Pricing Manager will also assess current firm pricing and matter management capabilities and writing proposals for projects that can improve firm efficiency and output and attend client meetings to discuss Pricing and Value Add offerings. This role will also involve presenting to partners and other fee-earners throughout EMEA region to raise awareness of function and capabilities and you will have significant involvement in EMEA reporting function and ensuring quality and integrity are maintained at all times.
Applicants should have proven pricing experience in a commercial environment ideally within the legal or professional sector. You must be a proactive and innovative individual with a high level of computer literacy and MS Excel modelling capability is essential. The role requires an analytical and strategic approach and a high degree of commercial acumen with a strategic outlook and the ability to create and execute complex and commercially valid fee arrangements.
