Reflecting the growing importance of digital and social media channels in marketing luxury travel destinations, Perowne International is creating a new role to develop, expand and run the existing social media team.

Reporting directly into the CEO, this individual will lead this growing division. It is an exciting opportunity to develop strategy and create outstanding content for some of the most exciting brands within the luxury travel sector as well as build up the partnerships and influencer division.

JOB DESCRIPTION



We are looking for a creative, motivated and strategic individual who thrives on generating new ideas to work with a range of clients on digital campaigns including social media and blog creation for brands including: The Safari Collection, Thanos Hotels, Cobblers Cove, University Arms Cambridge, Xigera and Hotel Sant Francesc. The applicant must have relevant experience in fast moving sectors eg retail and luxury brands. The candidate also needs to be thoroughly involved in all aspects of digital management - from the strategy to day to day execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Client Activity
  • Build digital communication roadmaps for clients
  • Forge strong client relationships based on informed strategic advice
  • Manage all digital marketing channels (e.g. website, blogs, emails, SEO, digital advertising and social media) to ensure brand consistency
  • Measure ROI and KPIs and prepare budgets
  • Metric analysis and ability to utilise the information to adapt and manage campaigns
  • Build strategies for new clients, review and update strategies for current clients
  • Oversee digital advertising campaigns where appropriate
  • Create exciting and engaging campaigns to grow following, brand awareness and engagement across channels
  • Work closely with the Sales and PR teams to ensure that there is an holistic, robust approach to client business objectives
  • Oversee reports
  • Manage content schedules for client sign-off
  • Drive innovation and explore all new social media opportunities
  • Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction
  • Manage and improve client's online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics
  • Oversee engagement with the communities across all channels
  • Monitor and respond to social trends, suggesting ways to capitalise on opportunities quickly and efficiently
  • Provide input and support on all crisis management planning across social platforms in conjunction with PR
  • Respond to questions and comments from audiences in a timely and appropriate way
  • Work with clients to arrange blogger trips
  • Oversee the creation and editing of blogs
  • Monitor competition and provide ideas to stand out


Perowne Digital Management
  • Oversee Perowne's social media accounts
  • Motivate digital team to achieve goals
  • Grow the influencer network for Perowne and its clients
  • Regularly meet with bloggers and influencers to assess opportunities for collaborations
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Proven track record in developing integrated digital campaigns which have delivered strong results against business and commercial objectives
  • Creative skills such as Photoshop, Snapseed and basic film editing
  • Knowledge of platforms such as Sprout Social, Tweetdeck, Hootsuite and Later
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to write and edit copy in a variety of styles and tones of voice
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience working in a digital agency would be desirable
  • Passion for digital marketing
  • Ability to speak a foreign language to reflect the international nature of the role would be a bonus
  • Knowledge of the luxury lifestyle industry
