Insight Manager - Remote (London 1 day per week) - Retail - Up to £60,000

Over the years, our client has accumulated a first-class reputation within the retail industry by providing consumers across the globe with top quality products. With innovation and the customer at the forefront of everything they do, they are now looking to hire a new eCommerce Insights Manager to assist with their future growth.

Reporting to the Global eCommerce Director, and working closely with the Global Digital Analytics Manager you will be accountable for producing action-based analytics in order to provide internal stakeholders with key insight which can be used for business growth. It will be the first role of its kind in the business and will feed in to their global teams, so there's definitely scope to leave your mark and make the role your own by working with the most senior stakeholders in the business.

You will be responsible for:
  • Working with closely with the Global eCommerce Analytics Manager and eCommerce Director
  • work with data from a wide variety of sources, connect the dots and provide actionable insights on the drivers of eCommerce
  • Providing meaningful reporting on regular performance and key eCommerce initiatives
  • Being able to confidentially explain the reasoning behind insights to a wide range of audiences from C-level downwards and across multiple countries
  • Presenting these insights as either live presentations or static reports

About you:
  • Has several years' experience working in eCommerce analytics, ideally in an ecommerce, retail, or FMCG environment
  • Is very comfortable working with data and able to extract the information necessary to deliver insights and drive progress - Advanced Excel and some SQL experience is required as blending of different data sources will be essential
  • Is experienced in presenting eCommerce data to a non-technical audience - utilising tools like PowerPoint or similar
  • Can remain focused on progressing the critical aims despite setbacks
  • Is able to act as a bridge between technically detailed contacts and other colleagues
  • Has enough understanding of programming to provide detail specifications to developers - or can code themselves
  • Can build strong working relationships across multiple locations and geographical boundaries
  • Experience with Amazon Brand Analytics (formerly Amazon Retail Analytics) is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI etc) is also desirable, but not essential
