Financial Controller | Hyper Growth Biotech Start-Up/SME | £70K-£80K | London

I am recruiting a Financial Controller to join a newly publicly listed fast growth Biotech. This business have a fantastic number of research programmes in the pipeline and have recently floating on the UK and US stock markets. Due to company growth, this business are looking for a Financial Controller. This person will be responsible for all financial controls of the business as well as future systems and compliance projects.

Core duties include:

· Planning and coordination of all accounting operational functions across UK & US

· Balance sheet reconciliations

· Cash flow forecasting and budgeting

· Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results

· Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements

· Working closely with the CFO, assessing current accounting operations, offering improvements and implementing new processes

· Evaluating accounting and internal control systems, with a clear focus on improving them

· Overseeing regulatory reporting

· Assisting with the set-up of procedures in relation to SOX compliance

· Support and develop other members of the Finance groups where required, to ensure they have the appropriate skills knowledge and expertise.

• Qualified Accountant
• SOX reporting experience
• Biotech experience

In return for the above, this company can offer a strong remuneration package including performance bonus scheme and shares within the business.

Candidate Availability - ASAP

Salary: £70,000-£80,000 + Shares + Private Medical Insurance

Location: London or Cambridge (working from home whilst necessary with view to move to hybrid office/from home agreement in the long-term.
