Windows/ Linux Administrator

Organizational Skills:

Initiate, demonstrate and assume ownership on improvement areas, ensuring completeness of the technical infrastructure to support system performance.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the enterprise hardware infrastructure and cloud.
Self initiatives towards products and technologies evaluation leading to innovative solutions addressing the current and future needs.
Adhere to established guidelines, processes, design standards and enterprise architecture for compliance.
Evaluate changes using Risk Priority Number and create Method of Procedures for changes.
Create and update Standard Operating Procedures and enhance the quality of documentation and reports contributing to the knowledge repository.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis.
Assist and support application developer, product managers and architecture teams.
Intermediate experience with cloud infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipeline design.
Manage cordial relations with Application, Facility Management, Administrative teams and other third-party service providers for seamless delivery of services.

Technical Skills:

6-10 years of experience in Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Linux and Windows systems.
Good knowledge of Linux system (OS) hardening and Image Creation along with patch management, hands-on experience of VMware/KVM virtualization is a must.
Good knowledge and experience on Active Directory/LDAP, ADFS, Directory Tree/NDIS, Domains, DHCP, DNS, etc. and Linux subsystem for Windows is a must.
Must have knowledge and experience on Storage and/or Backup technologies like NetApp/HP3Par, Veritas/Veeam, Disk Appliances and Tape Library.
Knowledge and/or experience of Database (MS SQL/Postgres/MySQL, etc.) with Application support and troubleshooting is desired.
Knowledge/experience with any of the scripting language e.g. PowerShell/Perl/Python/Bash is desired.
Knowledge/ experience on HCI and Cloud infrastructure (AWS/ Azure/GCP) is an advantage.
Good knowledge/experience of System monitoring and management tools like Nagios, Zabbix, System Center, Solarwinds is a must.
Installation and integration of enhancements of solaris system hardware, operating system and applications.
Performing diagnostics, significant hardware/software upgrades, system assessment and firmware management for system reliability, performance and business continuity.
Familiarity with Disk management, troubleshooting procedures.
