Software Engineer

(NodeJS Angular, Typescript, AWS)

Home based (UK)

£55-65,000

An opportunity to replace a tech stack with something brand new.

We want to take time and care to get the tools, processes and pipelines right from the start. This is going to be really slick.

The business

Is trading well and growing with big brand new clients and they are truly international with clients and colleagues working across the globe.

The Engineering team are predominantly UK based (working remotely from home and/or the Manchester office should you wish) and we are keen to have everyone in the same time zone.

They believe strongly in their values of helpfulness, knowledge sharing, innovation and resilience.

The software engineering team are moving from monolithic PHP based to microservices architecture and brand-new stack inc Nest framework with NodeJS, Angular Typescript, on AWS.

What matters?

Strong Typescript skills/experience

Some experience with Angular and NodeJS

Additional useful to have one or more of -
  • AWS, Kubernetes & CI/CD knowledge
  • Business transformation knowledge (i.e. experience of implementing Agile in multiple environments)
  • Willigness to learn and take on additional responsibilities such as mentoring juniors
