Senior FP&A Manager | Financial Services | London/Remote
The Client
Harmonic are proud to be working with one of the UK's largest investment funds in their search for a Senior FP&A Manager. They have over £40 billion worth of assets under management with divisions investing across a selection of asset classes as well as private equity.
The Role
As the Senior FP&A Manager, you will be working closely with the Finance Director to drive commercial performance and decision support across a range of asset classes (Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income) as well as supporting Treasury teams.
Despite the size of the portfolio they have a very lean Finance team offering the chance to have a genuine impact. There is extensive process improvement and system implementation required to improve the insight and analysis around product performance, P&L analysis and longer-term forecasting associated with the fund and individual products.

Experience in a mid-sized FS business offering exposure to a wide range of teams
Willingness to 'get hands dirty'
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + benefits (excellent bonus and excellent pension)
Location: London/ Remote working from home
Start Date: ASAP (able to wait 3 months)

Duties
- Improve and implement insightful financial analysis
- Produce Product and Portfolio Forecasting Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Build relationships with Asset Investment teams challenging decisions, performance and long-term planning
- Implement improved cost reporting and analysis
- Develop and produce KPI analytics supporting asset performance
- Support the FC with month-end duties and ad-hoc projects
- Support the FD with the production and presentation of investor reporting and board reporting
- Continuous process improvement and system implementation
Required Experience
- Financial Services Experience (ideally Asset Management or Investment Banking)
- ACA OR ACCA OR CIMA Qualified
- Experience with investment products across a number of product lines and asset classes
- Excellent communicator
- Commercially Astute
- Demonstratable process improvement experience (in the FP&A space)
