This role can be based in Lichfield or you can work from home. If home based, a minimum of 2 days a month should be spent in our offices in Lichfield.

Role Scope

You will be building strategic, long term relationships with key stakeholders across multiple clients and suppliers. You will be working across multiple Display platforms, across channels. Ensuring your accounts are optimised in-accordance with best practice and making sure that the client KPI's are met. You will be capable of delegating to and training junior team members ensuring they support you with editorial, optimisation, reporting and admin tasks. You will also be required to support the senior members of the team on developing client strategies.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Responsible for managing the partnership with Display Platforms (Criteo, AdRoll etc)
  • Building strategic relationships with key client and supplier stakeholders via video, email and face-to-face meetings
  • Ensuring the optimisation and management of paid display campaigns across multiple clients is carried out to best practice standards
  • Leading on deal economics, media allocation, and advertiser investment decisions
  • Ensuring accurate and timely preparation and analysis of daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports
  • Ensuring the management, distribution and optimisation of client budgets to achieve client campaign objectives is carried out
  • Working with the account teams to strategically develop clients and test new platforms and formats, targeting opportunities and Beta's to help meet client KPI's and leading the strategy review meetings
  • Ensuring any new clients are implemented into the team with strategic plans and then developed into long term clients
  • Awareness of time vs retainer, planning in work, managing client's expectations and escalating concerns or upsell opportunities where necessary, growth will come from identifying every opportunity
  • Working closely with other teams, integration is key to success
  • Work closely with the wider team to expand knowledge and ensure best practice is adhered to across all channels


Essential Skills

  • Solid understanding of digital systems including, or similar to: DoubleClick, GDN, Criteo, Google Analytics etc.
  • Experience working in the programmatic digital media buying & planning space with focus a on programmatic strategy and execution is preferred
  • Adept at development of media plan, campaign strategy and budget recommendations with a data-first approach
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and good presentation skills
  • Excellent Excel skills - intermediate to advanced level
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Able to think both strategically and tactically
  • An approachable leader who inspires, and drives and sets the right example


Desirable Skills

  • Several years' experience in digital paid media
  • Able to demonstrate growth strategies implemented on previous client accounts
  • Knowledge of display advertising, specifically real-time bidding, ad networks, DSP platforms, attribution models, and associated technologies
