This Data Software Developer vacancy is based in London, UK. This isn't a Data Scientist function - the focus is on database maintenance, cleansing, extraction, mining and creating models in R. Therefore they would like the successful Data Software Developer to start as soon as possible.

Primary responsibilities

• Database structuring, development, maintenance and optimization Data mining- acquire data from multiple online sources and systems
• Large scale data extraction, data cleaning and data structuring
• Process data based on the database structural requirement and business specification
• Create program to make API call to business partners and call API routinely to retrieve data

Required experience

• Full working rights in the UK
• Computer science education, BSc+
• 2+ years' minimum industry experience, must be relevant and ideally working with health or genomics data
• R programming
• At least two of the following: Python, Scala, Java, SQL, C#
• Writing API code
• Data mining
