Job Details

Sustainability. Eco-Friendly. Exciting. Rewarding.

Just some of the words that have been used to describe an organisation we've been working with who are on a mission to change the world one grocery delivery at a time.

Sourcing local produce, combining it with responsible packaging and delivering it right to your door has seen this company secure another round of funding and are growing their small tech team out by another 10 people...two of which are Software Engineers.

This role is fully remote with the option to dip into their HQ in Manchester from time to time if you're so inclined.

Projects you'll be working on will include re-writing their stock management system, creating a mobile app, rebuilding the core website and user portal, working on their billing platform and loads of other great bits to get your teeth stuck into.

  • .Net Core
  • SQL Server or other RDBMS
  • Azure
  • Previous development of web APIs
  • JS frameworks such as React, Vue JS, Angular
  • Good understanding of Agile practices and tools (Kanban, Scrum etc.)
  • Appreciation of design patterns e.g. MVC
  • Use of CI/CD
  • Unit Testing frameworks e.g. MSTest/Moq/NUnit

Also worth mentioning if you've had a go at NoSQL database stuff (Cosmos or Mongo) you're a shoe in.

You of course get to work on interesting stuff with good tech in an exciting place but you also get a good package.
  • Decent salary
  • Good pension
  • Share options
  • Incredible progression (due to growth)
  • Fully remote of course
  • New benefits being added regularly

Appreciated you might not be looking but if you're open to putting your superpowers to good use for a rewarding purpose then this is the place.
