Job title: Tech Support Engineer
Location : Initial training period to be undertaken in the IDEMIA Winnersh office but the work location after that period will be split (60/40) between the IDEMIA Winnersh office and the customer site in Farnborough
Job tyope : Fix term contract - 18months+
IDEMIA requires a Support Engineer to ensure the support and maintenance of the IDEMIA components of our customer's solution in accordance with the relevant SLA's.

· Travel: Able to travel as required and at short notice
· Full Time and able to work extended hours on occasion when required

IDEMIA requires a Support Engineer to ensure the support and maintenance of the IDEMIA components of our customer's solution in accordance with the relevant SLA's.
RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:
ACTIVITY
- Provide technical support and maintenance on company products
- Ensure full adherence to the SLA
- Respond to customer needs relevant to IDEMIA's contractual responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for all on-site Morpho support requests
- Perform daily system checks and monitoring, identifying where appropriate scope for preventative maintenance/improvements and where needed escalating the actions within Morpho
- Produce various internal and external monthly reports
- Act as the interface between IDEMIA France and the customer
- Escalation key point and coordinator of any incident resolution
- Occasional out of hours support cover during major system release updates
- Review and update procedures and documentation
- In this role, you will be also expected to perform other duties/tasks that may be required from you from time to time.

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
- Previous experience in a similar application support environment
- Good IT administrator skill set on Linux (Red Hat based flavors) and Windows systems
- Some knowledge of Oracle (constructing and running queries) would be advantageous
- A proactive approach to system administration and support functions
- Ideally educated to a minimum of degree level in a IT/technical subject or with the appropriate IT qualifications
- Current SC clearance would be a benefit
OTHER:
