Trader Assistant (Front Office)- Hedge Fund - 55-65k base fantastic bonus potential

A leading US hedge fund are looking to make a newly created trader assistant hire into its London office.

Sat on the trading desk, the hire will sit next to / work directly for a head trader on a new European fund launch. The TA will be solely responsible for this trader (FYI the operations team are separate / not desk based).

In addition to core TA responsibilities, the hire will work on regular ad-hoc tasks for the trader (including research) + he/she will be working with technology teams on projects / process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years relevant experience as a TA/trade support/operations professional at a major financial institution. Advanced excel skills are preferred.

The role will pay up to a 65k base salary and a large % of that number can be realized as a bonus for a strong performer. The benefits package offered is one of the most attractive in the London hedge fund space.
