As we continue to build our finance function, we're looking for people who are smart, consultative and commercially savvy to make a significant impact on the future of our business.
The Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of company-wide forecasts and budgets, including presentations and all supporting schedules and analysis as required
- Assist with the forecasting process, liaising with commercial teams for inputs and understanding of sales and spend.
- Monitor spend vs budget and working closely with department heads and the sales and marketing controllers. Working with Financial Analysts on tracker maintenance.
- Create, identify and communicate Risks and Opportunities, and maintain a schedule for Working with and challenging teams on finding optimum levels for efficient use of resources
- Support commercial teams in developing reporting in a rapidly changing and fast-growing environment
- Manage changes and updates to the Company's budget/ forecast model.
- Set detailed cost centre budgets on a department level
- Actively contribute to the development of new business opportunities through the business casing process
- Ad Hoc analysis
Requirements
- Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 1-3 years post qualification experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, having the confidence to communicate clearly with senior management and challenge different commercial teams
- Ability to think logically and methodically
- Experience of both ecommerce and bricks and mortar forecasting would be desirable
- Flexible and proactive with an eagerness to learn
