Tech Lead (Full Stack)

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Tech Lead to join as our first full-time internal tech hire. We're looking for someone with significant experience who is willing to get their hands dirty building features but also someone who is also able to think of the big picture and help us grow the product, business and team.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development - from specification to production code
• Work along the CTO to optimise the stack - experiment, decide and deploy scalable backend architectures
• Help us move from MVP to the first full-scale version of our product, test and iterate with our first customers
• Help us build and hire a world-class engineering team

Requirements

• A significant number of years of software engineering experience
• Experience in leading technical teams
• Experience with startups
• Full stack capabilities with a focus on back-end technologies
• Experience using AWS infrastructure and services (e.g. ECS, RDS, S3)
• You know what excellent engineering looks like, and how to get other people to that level
• You have a product mindset and customer focus
• Experience scaling monitoring systems, CI/CD, testing, and other QA processes
