Legal Cashier

Totum Partners are delighted to be working with a Leading Law firm recruiting for a Legal Cashier for a 12 month FTC.

The ideal Legal Cashier will be responsible for:

• Ensuring all office supplier invoices received are distributed to budget heads/fee
• Posting all authorised invoices onto Elite 3E
• Preparing weekly bulk payment runs by BACS/CHAPS,
• Raising ad hoc payment batches both on BACS and cheques for urgent payments
• Dispatching remittance advice to suppliers
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Undertaking a regular review of all open items, and using initiative to clear down such items.
• Confidently communicating with suppliers, fee earners or budget holders
• Liaising with firm signatories and approvers
• Banking client cheques as necessary.

The ideal Legal Cashier will have:

· Experience of a Legal Cashier

· Strong attention to detail

· Experience in using Elite 3 E

· Excellent customer service skills

· Excellent communication, organisational

· Team player.
