Morgan Hunt are delighted to be assisting a Swindon based Multi Academy Trust with the recruitment of a Senior Finance Manager. Based at the Trusts offices in Swindon the Senior Finance Manager role will be responsible for the management of a small finance function as part of the central services support team. Reporting to the Finance Director the role will include but by no means be limited to:

• Monthly management reporting
• Annual budget setting and providing budget advice to the Schools within the group
• Monitoring of Schools budgets and cash flow
• Support with Education Skills Funding Agency Returns and liaison with the ESFA when required
• Cash flow forecasting
• Accounting and financial control of trading subsidiary
• Manage internal and external audit prep and process
• Preparation of Statutory accounts
• VAT/Tax returns
• Responsible for ensuring that the Trust's accounting systems are effectively and accurately

Key requirements - Senior Finance Manager

• Part qualified or Qualified ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA or equivalent
• Extensive experience of managing a finance function
• Experience of Budgets, financial reporting, procurement, cash-flow and fixed assets
• Experience of the education sector is desirable although not essential.
