Notts based - work from home initially, then 3 days home, 2 in the office - embedded software, Internet of Things ( IoT ), networking, connectivity - to c.£65K'ish + benefits

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with some people, project or technical lead experience to join the small R & D team of a global, multi-billion dollar, Electronics company, who are tasked with developing new industrial scale IoT products and functionality.

The team is a mix of Embedded Software and Firmware Engineers and the job itself will be a real mix of hands-on development and management responsibilities.

The position is based in Notts and is currently home based but will be based from home 3 days a week, with 2 days spent in the office.

You will need to offer -

• 10+ years embedded software development experience
• People, project or technical lead responsibilities - mentoring etc experience is fine
• IoT, connectivity (Zigbee, Bluetooth, Ethernet, WiFi etc) development experience

This job is a great opportunity for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with IoT, Zigbee, WiFi, networking skills and some Team Lead experience, or an established Embedded Software Team Lead to lead a small, successful team and work on interesting and challenging industrial scale IoT projects.
