I am currently seeking an Associate Director to Director level Fire Engineer for a specialist consultancy with various office locations. This role would suit someone who is either commercially driven and/or technicallly driven.

The client is an award winning independent practice and has delivered challenging projects globally across multiple sectors. They continue to expand and are proud of their excellent reputation within this specialist field. They have a loyal client base with a significant project portfolio in the UK and Internationally.

The role:

• Support/lead project teams in the delivery of fire strategies
• Oversee projects (UK and overseas)
• Drive the growth of the team and the wider business across multiple offices
• Manage the technical development of the team
• Oversee vocational training opportunities/CPD's
• Work with the partners within the wider business to meet company objectives
• Manage existing client relationships and promote business development of new clients in order to bring in work
• Oversee resourcing and deliver according financial targets
• Monitor financial activity ensuring this is in line with the company's strategic growth plans for 2021

Experience/Qualifications:

• Degree in Fire Engineering or industry related equivalent
• Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers
• Chartered Engineer
• 8 + years experience
• Recent UK Fire Engineering Consultancy experience
• Excellent understanding of fire safety/analysis and strategies
• Expert knowledge of British Standards and Regulations
