The Strategy & Planning team are responsible for all planning and design activities associated with toob's FTTP network design. The team focus on producing a high-quality technical design that contains enough detailed and validated information about a planning area to give increased confidence in build and cost accuracy.

We are looking for a candidate to join the team to manage the all the network data.

Key Accountability & Responsibilities

Initial responsibilities are outlined below, but there is opportunity for this role to develop further;

  • Act as the owner of address information/data for the company
  • Manage the data required to release addresses/properties for sale, ensuring data integrity and accuracy of network installation information
  • Develop the process for extracting the data from our network designs, storing and managing the data, and translating in to the right format for upload to the customer sales platform
  • Investigate requests to update/change address attributes and network installation methods
  • Support the In-life Planning team to ensure any changes are also reflected in the asset management system
  • Develop a process for feeding back information on customer connections from the sales platform to the asset management system
  • Manage reporting on a monthly basis in to Openreach on customer connections
  • Opportunity to develop FTTP planning skills for the right candidate

Experience & attributes
    • Highly proficient in excel and data management
    • GIS experience preferred (not essential)
    • Knowledge of Telco/FTTP networks advantageous
    • High attention to detail
    • Excellent communication
