The Role
The Data Delivery Manager within Informa Markets will be responsible for the supervision and management of business data analysts and data executives for a region within a wider global team. Working with the Delivery Director, the role will be responsible for the success of the delivering the business data for Informa Markets. This role will ensure delivery of high quality of data by leveraging efficient methods and tools, existing frameworks and fit to use data for various business needs. The supporting team responds to data requests of preparation, analysis, availability and generating insights from usable data for both internal and external users. The team also administers procedural and data documentation and maps data for website components and API feeds from multiple vendors.
The role will ultimately be responsible in ensuring that efficient processes, procedures and workflows are in place to enable collection, storage and use of customer and business data. Furthermore, harness methods of automation, process improvements and people upskill to bring in productivity benefits to the overall process

Relevant Industry knowledge
· Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and managing data service teams
· SQL query skills. Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL and other database technologies
· Experience of managing projects, ideally including those involving integration across systems
· Exposure to processes involved in building and executing marketing automation campaigns
· A strong understanding on Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) procedures and solutions
· Knowledge of Talend MDM, data platforms and of Eloqua, Adobe Experience Manager and Salesforce (or similar toolsets)
· Experience of working in a global business, managing remote teams and supporting remote business users

Job Summary/Responsibilities
Management & Data Delivery
- To lead, mentor and operationally manage direct reports typically consisting of business analysts and data executives
- Develop teamwork and balance the strengths of individuals, allocating responsibilities and priorities as appropriate, measuring performance and setting targets
- Work with 3rd-party data sources and processors to ensure data is received by Informa in a standard format for more efficient upload to the MDM system
- Ensure the timely execution of processes for right data quality within the systems
- Contribute to relevant management meetings and provide subject matter expertise
- Work with stakeholders and provide excellent service to customers and adherence to defined and agreed service levels
Information and Data Management
- Support data quality and master data management activities to ensure data from source systems is accurate, current, consistent and fit for purpose
- Support data migrations, between systems and business process validations
- Support third party vendor integration, including overseeing analysis of source data, data mapping and testing
- Oversee or conduct data quality investigations to resolve any issues or to make enhancements
- Drive continuous improvement, automation and documentation to ensure adherence to current policies and data standards
- Provide subject matter expertise to ongoing MDM and data marts
- Govern and manage data delivery tasks including website, data uploads, data requests, extracts and all other adhoc requests and queries
Experience
- Excellent understanding of enterprise data warehousing principles, data management concepts and ETL solutions
- Experience in leading a team conducting data analysis, administration and stewardship
- Experience of managing customer databases, processes and procedures to support the marketing requirements of the business
- Experience of data migration and testing (e.g. User Acceptance Testing) activities
- Strong attention to detail, complete with strong data gathering, problem solving and analytical skills
- Has managed workflow and prioritisation of tasks, ideally via a ticketed approach and within an SLA or deadline focused environment
- Experience of working in a matrix global environment and building team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to be flexible and deal with changing priorities and timelines/due dates
- Proficient in the creation of process and procedure documentation
- Can clearly communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical teams
- Ability continually drive improvements in the processing of data and data management solutions
- Excellent English written, oral, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity tools
