PHP Laravel Developer - Currently remote, 3/4 days remote in better times

Maxegan Recruitment are currently seeking a PHP Laravel Developer for an exciting permanent opportunity based in a leading global London-based Tech client.

Within the role, you will be joining a newly formed team to develop and maintain RESTful APIs & Back-Office systems.

Within this PHP Laravel Developer position, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• For the Business and their clients, develop and Maintain RESTful APIs & back office systems
• Follow the PSR-2 coding style to write reusable, testable and efficient PHP code
• Efficiently deliver features through your deep knowledge of Laravel
• Building modular code
• Being a strong team member by providing occasional our of hours assistance on occasion
• Act-up in the role, giving you the potential to lead
• Bring your own ideas to the table to enhance the established application processes
• Build the reputation of the team outside the business in the wider market

The primary skills, knowledge and experience required for this PHP Laravel Developer piece of work are:

• A deep knowledge of Laravel gained from a minimum of 2 years' professional experience
• Project experience of RESTful APIs
• Strong Object Orientated programming (OOP) skills
• Good testing experience with Dusk and PHPUnit
• CI/CD commercial experience with GitHub Workflows
• A good understanding of design patterns
• It would be beneficial to have familiarity with React.JS and Tailwind
• A working knowledge of GIT version control would be ideal
• Any experience of working with newly created applications, products, or start ups would be beneficial
• Excellent, clear communication skills both written and verbal - ability to communicate and influence at all levels
• Accountability, Prioritisation and Ownership
• Strong Stakeholder communications
