Network Operations Team Lead

Network Operations Team Lead is required by a leading financial services organisation and Investment Bank. The role comprises managing BAU projects and Level 3 support across the EMEA region and encompasses datacentre, LAN, WAN networks, and network connectivity in support of Cloud (Azure and AWS).

• Significant hands-on network delivery experience achieved in a complex technology environment
• Deep knowledge of routing and switching protocols specifically BGP and OSPF
• Practical Multicast experience
• Experience in network packet capture and performance monitoring tools
• Process and change management champion - service and operational improvement
• Project management - managing BAU projects (upgrades, migrations, EoL, network hygiene)
• Team leadership - technically mentor Network Engineers (some based in different geographies)
• Advanced level technical knowledge of Cisco and Arista enterprise and datacentre technologies
• Familiarity with major public Cloud offerings (specifically Azure and AWS) and network connectivity scenarios
