Job Details

In this role of Sales Engineer, you are responsible for supporting the EMEA sales organization from a technology perspective in Europe, with a primary focus on supporting DACH region activity. Together with the Sales Manager and Solution Design Engineer, the Sales Engineer is responsible for delivering high quality product demonstrations. The Sales Engineer is responsible for demonstrating the technology during product demonstrations and acting as the technical SME with regards to the VMS during the sales process.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct demonstrations for customers/prospects as needed
  • Create dashboards / reports / configuration which may later be applied to Beeline's standard offering
  • Maintain a robust and current demo version of Beeline VMS for relationship and sales team including data staging and configuration of the latest version
  • Maintenance of robust and current sandbox site including data staging and configuration of the latest version of Beeline VMS
  • Maintain standard and custom demo scripts in support of the sales process
  • Conduct demonstrations for potential buyers (SVP & C-suite) and serving as the product expert during the sales process
  • Provide ongoing support to sales team as necessary
  • Participate in software design discussions
  • Document configuration settings and submit tickets for modifications in Base Configuration as needed
  • Support designated key accounts or prospects deemed as strategic to development of standard solution
  • Assist RFP team in preparing responses for prospect RFPs when necessary
  • Demonstrate product and marketing knowledge to clients and prospects to reassure on Beeline's capacity to deliver on its promises
  • Participate in special projects assigned by management and provide support to special projects as and when required (i.e. Marketing, Partnership & Sales Support activities)


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Ability to drive change through high-energy and a can-do attitude
  • Comfortable working in a high-performance and open-door cultural environment
  • English and German speaking requirement
  • Experience with CRM technology is required

  • Advanced knowledge of Procure to Pay processes, IT products and SaaS services
  • Keeps commitment, meets deadlines and completes assignments within the allotted timeframe
  • Well-honed writing skills, tactful verbal / interpersonal communication abilities and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Ability to translate detailed and complex technical processes into understandable conclusions and present these back to prospects
  • Ability to self-manage with willingness to accept guidance from manager as necessary
  • Experience with Visio, PowerPoint and Excel is preferred
  • Staffing Industry & Vendor Management System knowledge preferred, but not required
