The Azure Solution Architect Role:

The Pre-Sales Solution Architect role works closely with the Sales Team to build strong technical relationships with the current and prospective client base. It is equally important to build an internal profile with the various technical leads in the business and provide some mentoring to the desk-based Pre-Sales Consultants.

The primary purpose is to support sales target attainment of new business and renewals; this is achieved by understanding the technical landscape of the client and build multi-product, technically viable solutions that address business needs, pains or issues. There is a requirement to establish and maintain senior technical level contacts within these client accounts and take personal pride in maintaining a high level of awareness of technology trends and advancements.

This is a client facing role. The expectation is that as much time as possible is spent in front of clients, guiding them technically, providing strategic direction, providing roadmaps and working alongside the Sales Team to tease out, qualify and close opportunities.

The Pre-Sales Solution Architect will work closely with the Product Groups and Technical Architects for in-depth design and migration work that will be incorporated into the broader client solution/proposal.
