Reporting to the Sales Director the key function of the Cyber Security Sales Specialist role is to develop profitable new business for our Security product group. You will work with existing customers and new customer acquisition.
The primary purpose is to support sales target attainment of new business and client upsell; this is achieved by understanding the cyber maturity of the client, their threat landscape and technically viable solutions that address business pains. Providing addressable solutions to utilise our security services across the breadth of our capabilities from GRC, Security Solutions, and Penetration Testing consultancy teams as well as the Public Cloud and Connectivity teams within the business.
The Cyber Security team is passionate about cyber maturity and is often referred to as the Trusted Advisor to the client. We are always looking to provide the best possible outcomes for our clients needs and budgets. This role is expected to be equally passionate about cyber security and help drive the growth of the cyber practice.
+ University degree in business related discipline
+ Significant proven experience in a New Business Development role within the Cyber Security industry, ideally within a Managed Security environment / with complementing technologies market
+ Ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of solution selling & experience selling under a value proposition approach vs product-led
+ Working experience in MSSP and familiar with CSOC operations
+ Working technical knowledge of security technologies (across multiple domains such as SIEM, Firewall, Network IPS, DLP, Cloud Security etc), information security concepts and familiar with security products (Sentinel, Chronicle, AlienVault, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Splunk, McAfee, Symantec etc) and the security market place.
+ Professional security related qualification such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC or equivalent are highly desirable
+ Working knowledge and familiarity with GRC and Offensive Security consulting services (e.g. penetration testing, PCI audit, security assessment) is highly desirable (pre-sales perspective)
+ Working knowledge and familiarity with Virtualization and Cloud technology is desirable
+ Broad experience and understanding of:
– regulatory framework and guidelines in the region is highly desirable
– industry standards, framework and best practices such as ISO27001, PCI DSS, NIST, etc is highly desirable
– security trend, threat landscape and framework such as MITRE ATT&CK
+ Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
+ Providing direction and influencing clients
+ Proven ability to operate in pressurised situations and successfully handle multiple priorities
+ Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
